Beschreibung
Adjacent to the king's quarters, this tower hides a wide ramp that horsemen and carriages could easily ride up to supply the castle. The tower wraps around a hollowed-out central core that provides ventilation and light. It is a striking structure. Note the graffiti on the walls of the bridleway, left by prisoners over the centuries. Beautiful view of the banks of the Loire, 40m high.
