Imàgo, the panoramic restaurant at the beautiful Hassler hotel (which stands at the top of the famous Spanish Steps in Piazza di Spagna), provides the stunning setting for young chef Andrea Antonini, who creates beautifully presented and imaginative cuisine inspired by ingredients and traditions from Italy (and occasionally Lazio). Antonini recommends his “blind” tasting menu, which selects what he considers to be the best dishes from his à la carte. The extensive and well-chosen wine list includes a good selection of non-Italian wines, with a particular focus on France, while the superb views of Rome are the icing on the cake, contributing to what is an elegant and unforgettable dining experience. Excellent service completes the picture.
