Ami, decorated on a forest theme, offers a fine dining experience in a casual setting. On top of tasting menus, all-day à la carte choices abound – Gallic classics, plates to share and bar snacks are all up for grabs. The enthusiastic, young chef from Southern France imbues the menu with novel ideas, such as yellow chicken cooked two ways: poached breast and grilled leg with morels and a vin jaune sauce. Made-to-order orange blossom soufflé is fluffy and custardy.
