Specializing in the slim, egg roll-shaped burritos of Mexico’s Zacatecas region, this down-home duo of spots is all about the holy trinity of tortilla, meat and salsa—no cheese, beans (except in the veggie option) and definitely no lettuce.
But while these delicacies may not be “supersized,” they are indeed superb. La Palma’s single-minded focus on fillings presents some memorable bites, from tender, well-spiced beef birria to soul-satisfying carne deshebrada, studded with chunks of potato and green chile.
