The name pays a small homage to this Portuguese nobleman who played a decisive part in several battles during the Restoration War. The restaurant enjoys a certain prestige as well as a good location in an old house that has been restored. It boasts three intimate dining rooms combining classic and rustic decorative detail, one with an open fire, plus a large function room upstairs.
