Beringer Vineyards is one of the oldest vineyards in Napa Valley, in the California Wine Country. This wine-growing enterprise was founded by a German family in 1876. It escaped prohibition by manufacturing sacramental wine. Its very well produced white chardonnay and red cabernets enjoy a good reputation, and rightly so.
