At this establishment, right by National Road 13, you can enjoy the traditional leitão, here called Leitão assado a manjar, suckling pig roast, with crisp skin, wafer-thin chips, a generous salad and a flavoursome leitão sauce. And it would be impossible not to mention the other specialities that round out the menu, such as Bife de vazio à brasa, grilled bavette steak; the classic Bacalhau à lagareiro, salt cod with olive oil and garlic; Arroz de pato à antiga, old-style duck rice; or the robust Feijoada de Leitão, a hearty suckling-pig bean stew. The venue offers spacious, light-filled dining rooms with restrained décor and contemporary touches, plus a well-stocked wine cellar to accompany the treats.
