In the heart of the Marais, inside Lafayette Anticipations – an art foundation designed by Rem Koolhaas – the restaurant has an unpolished decor of exposed concrete, asymmetrical wooden tables and a glass-paned kitchen. Here, Thomas Coupeau composes dishes for sharing, with a multitude of influences, which he nonetheless masters: seed praline crackers; Turkish-inspired lamb manti and fermented yoghurt; sô' pâté in puff pastry, lemongrass sausage and tamarind jus; rhubarb cheesecake. A loft vibe, carefully selected soundtrack, young and arty clientele. A great place for lunch.
