Diners immediately feel at home in this establishment thanks to Zoë’s warm welcome. Unsurprisingly, given its name, earthenware plays a star role in the décor of this listed 17C presbytery dripping in warmth and elegance. You are invited to sample chef Roel’s set menu, depicted by razor-sharp craftsmanship and subtle marriages, which bear witness to the chef’s stints in prestigious establishments and also to his love of setting himself ever more creative challenges. He may offset the full-bodied character of a piece of beef with a spicy tarragon sauce and a kebab of lacquered calf’s tongue, teriyaki style. This establishment echoes the sincere and endearing enthusiasm of its owner couple.
