A stone’s throw from the port, behind its name, this restaurant hides a veiled tribute to the family nickname. Renowned chef José Manuel López, ably assisted by his wife (Zoryana Hlovak) on the sweet side, serves up a proposal that can be interpreted as a declaration of intentions, constantly looking to the sea and the surrounding vegetable garden. Through its à la carte and comprehensive tasting menu, he champions a Mediterranean cuisine with modern details which successfully reinterprets traditional seafood dishes. We were surprised by the original semi-soupy rice with anchovies, beans and blood sausage, presented as nigiri.
