Clio Modaffari and Anne Legrand, previously at L'Innocence in Paris, run this little bistro tucked away behind the town hall and a stone's throw from the Vieux Port. Anne works alone in the kitchen; Clio takes care of the morning market run, selecting exceptional fish, vegetables and fruit from regional producers and, back at the restaurant, she manages the wine cellar and service. The short and exciting menu features a dozen bold and inspired dishes for sharing: house-made agnolotti with ricotta and lemon, shavings of Martigues bottarga; oven-roast shoulder of lamb, crispy panisse, red cabbage with harissa and ancho chilli sauce; roast pear and kefir ice cream with verbena.
