The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. The Station House is ideally situated just a few minutes’ walk from the Beach, Courthouse Café, Collingwood Tavern and Museums, and a short drive to iconic Mussel Inn and Langford Store. Collingwood is a quiet location and the perfect place to stay to explore all of Golden Bays Natural Attractions. It’s a short drive to Farewell Spit, Cape Farewell, Wharariki Beach, Te Waikoropupū Springs, and the hosts can assist with arranging tours to Farewell Spit, which depart opposite the Motel. The hosts recommend a minimum three night stay as there is so much to see and do.
